Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) requires businesses to comply with digital invoicing regulations under the FBR Point of Sale (POS) Integration System and the Sales Tax General Order (STGO).
Key Integrations & Requirements:
FBR Digital Invoicing API — ERP Enigma can integrate with the FBR's Digital Invoicing API endpoint to submit real-time invoice data. Businesses must register on the FBR IRIS portal to obtain API credentials (POS ID, username, and password).
Pakistan Workspace App — Community-developed localization app that adds mandatory regional fields including NTN (National Tax Number), STRN (Sales Tax Registration Number), and CNIC/NIC to Customer and Supplier records.
FBR IRIS Portal Registration — Before integration, businesses registered for Sales Tax must apply to FBR via the IRIS portal (iris.fbr.gov.pk) to enable digital invoicing. FBR assigns a unique POS ID for each registered integration point.
Annexure C Report — Generate the monthly Sales Tax return Annexure C (output tax invoices) for filing on the FBR IRIS portal.
Sales Tax Return — Monthly Sales Tax return preparation covering input tax, output tax, and net payable/refundable amounts.
Withholding Tax (WHT) — Configure withholding tax deductions per Income Tax Ordinance 2001 for vendor payments and salary disbursements.
Custom Duties & Federal Excise Duty (FED) — Track and report Federal Excise Duty on applicable goods and services.
Integration Steps for FBR:
Register your business on the FBR IRIS portal and obtain your Sales Tax Registration Number (STRN).
Apply for FBR POS Integration — request your POS ID and API credentials from the IRIS portal.
Install the Pakistan Workspace app or configure NTN/STRN custom fields in ERP Enigma.
Configure the FBR API endpoint in ERP Enigma (Sandbox:

Important: FBR Digital Invoicing compliance is mandatory for registered Sales Tax businesses. Non-compliance can result in penalties and POS integration audits. Consult an FBR-certified ERP partner for enterprise deployments.
